About News Clarion

News Clarion reads the public RSS feeds of dozens of news publishers and groups articles covering the same event into a single story. Instead of the same headline repeated twelve times, you get one story with twelve sources — and a link to each.

On top of that grouping we add three things you cannot get from any single publisher: a short synthesis drawn across all the coverage, an analysis of how different outlets framed the same event, and background pages on subjects the news keeps returning to.

We do not reproduce articles. We store a headline, the short summary the publisher themselves put in their feed, a thumbnail, and a link. There is deliberately no place in our database for article text. Reading the full story means visiting the publisher, which is exactly as it should be.

We are not a newsroom and we employ no reporters. Nothing here is original reporting, and we never present it as such.

Story summaries, framing analysis, and topic background are generated by an AI model reading the headlines and feed summaries we have collected. Every one is labelled on the page where it appears.

The model is never given full article text, and it is instructed to work only from the material supplied rather than from its own knowledge. Our editorial standards set out the limits in detail, including what we do when the output falls short.

News Clarion is operated by AppRealm, based in Sri Lanka. It is an independent site with no affiliation to any of the publishers it links to.
