Information for publishers

Email app.realm.ar@gmail.com from a domain associated with your publication, name the feed, and we will remove it. You do not need to send a takedown notice, involve a lawyer, or explain why. We will confirm when it is done.

For each item in your feed we keep:

The headline · the short summary your feed itself supplies · the thumbnail URL your feed supplies · the link to your article · the publication timestamp · your publication name.

We never store article text. There is no column for it in our database. Anyone wanting to read the story has to follow the link to you, which is the entire point of the site.

Our crawler identifies itself as NewsClarionBot/1.0 with a link back to this page. It reads only your public RSS or Atom feed — never your article pages — and it respects HTTP caching, so an unchanged feed costs you a 304 response and nothing more.

Requests to a single host are serialised rather than run in parallel, and a feed that repeatedly fails is deactivated automatically rather than retried indefinitely. If you believe our crawling is placing any load on your servers, tell us and we will reduce the frequency or stop entirely.

Your headline is shown with your publication name, linked to your article. Where several publishers cover the same event we group them into one story page listing every source — which is additional exposure for your reporting, not a substitute for it.

Where we generate a summary across a story, it is written from headlines and feed summaries only, is labelled as AI-generated, and states that it is not original reporting. Our editorial standards set out the constraints in full.

We never present your reporting as ours, never remove your byline or publication name, and have no commercial relationships with any publisher we index.

If we have grouped your article with an unrelated story, attributed a framing to you that your headline does not support, or made any other error, email us and we will fix or remove it. We treat publisher complaints as the highest-priority mail we receive — see contact.
