Israel warns of 'forceful' response to kites flown from Gaza

Israel has threatened a forceful response to kites being flown from Gaza toward Israeli border communities, with some reports indicating the threat includes intensified attacks and forced displacement. Hamas says the kites were launched by children in Gaza, while Gaza parents have been warned to stop their children from flying kites. The accounts differ on whether Israel is responding to a revival of an incendiary kite tactic or to kites flown by children, and on the severity of Israel's threatened response.
